Welcome to Sog Yungdrung Ling

Besides the goal to preserve Bön, the native religion of Tibet and its culture, the Monastery chose to support children from poor or difficult family backgrounds. Most of the 70 children who live in the monastery from the age of 4 till the age of 20 are (half) orphans or children for whose parents cannot provide all required support. The main goal is not only to provide food, shelter and basic education, but also to raise a citizen with instilled ethical values, a professional who is able to provide for himself, to benefit society.
